Reconnect a platform
Platforms make you log in again every so often. When that happens, PostPilot emails you a link to this page.
LinkedIn connections expire about every 60 days.
We'll reconnect it with you over WhatsApp or email — it takes about 5 minutes, and PostPilot keeps posting to your other platforms meanwhile. Your posts are saved and go out once you're reconnected.
Facebook Page
Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) connections expire about every 60 days.

Instagram uses the same Meta connection as Facebook.

Threads
Threads uses the same Meta connection as Instagram.

X (Twitter)
- Open developer.twitter.com and sign in with the X account you post from.
- Go to your app → Keys and Tokens, and regenerate the Access Token and Secret.
- Paste the four values into your PostPilot .env file as X_API_KEY, X_API_SECRET, X_ACCESS_TOKEN and X_ACCESS_TOKEN_SECRET, then restart PostPilot.
Google Business Profile
Google connections need renewing from time to time.
We'll reconnect it with you over WhatsApp or email — it takes about 5 minutes, and PostPilot keeps posting to your other platforms meanwhile. Your posts are saved and go out once you're reconnected.
TikTok
- Open developers.tiktok.com and sign in with the TikTok account you post from.
- Go to Manage apps → your PostPilot app → Login Kit, and authorise again with the video.publish and user.info.basic scopes.
- Copy the new access token and refresh token.
- Paste them into your PostPilot .env file as TIKTOK_ACCESS_TOKEN and TIKTOK_REFRESH_TOKEN, then restart PostPilot.
- Open developers.pinterest.com and sign in with your Pinterest business account.
- Go to My apps → your PostPilot app and generate a new token with the boards:read, boards:write, pins:read and pins:write scopes.
- Copy the new access token and refresh token.
- Paste them into your PostPilot .env file as PINTEREST_ACCESS_TOKEN and PINTEREST_REFRESH_TOKEN, then restart PostPilot.
Telegram
- Make sure your bot (created with @BotFather) is still an admin of your channel.
- If you made a new bot, paste its token into your PostPilot .env file as TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN, then restart PostPilot.
Common questions
PostPilot stopped posting
Check that the computer PostPilot runs on is switched on and online at your posting times, and that PostPilot is running (start.bat or start.sh). Then open your dashboard at localhost:8080 on that computer to see what happened.
“License not valid”
Your monthly payment may be due — check your email and WhatsApp for the renewal link. If you moved PostPilot to a new computer, message us and we'll move your license.
Posts aren't being written
PostPilot writes posts with your own Anthropic (Claude) API key. Check that the key is in the setup wizard and that your Anthropic account has credit.
